THIS ISN’T MICROBLADING...
IT’S THE NEXT LEVEL OF EYEBROW PERMANENT COSMETICS...
ANYONE- male or female- can get eyebrow micropigmentation. Permanent cosmetic tattooing is a cosmetic procedure used to improve or replace lost eyebrow shape and hairs.
What is micropigmentation?
Micropigmentation is sometimes referred to as permanent makeup. It is also a type of tattoo makeup treatment. It may be performed to enhance the scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes, eyelids for eyeliner and lips (to color correct). Micropigmentation can also be used to camouflage or improve the appearance of scars, even out skin tone and restore color to areas of skin that have lost color because of conditions like vitiligo. It reduces the time spent on applying makeup and, in the long run, it reduces the cost of buying makeup.
What about Microblading?
Microblading is typically done using a manual blade dipped in pigment that marks the skin by creating cuts to look like individual hairs. Over time those cuts are building scar tissue in your skin. The ink starts to look muddled and spread under the skin from the new scar formation done by micro blading. There is a level of scar tissue built from multiple sessions that damages the skin permanently to never hold and retain tattoo pigment again. Also, the scar tissue built up acts as a filter over the tattoo pigment. The color may start to change and turn very cool/ashy in the skin.
Tattooing does not create the scar tissue that micro blading causes. A puncture from the tattoo needle creates a vacuum effect drawing the tattoo pigment into the hole created. It is less tramatic, easier healing process and avoids the buildup of scar tissue compared to microblading.
How long do micropigmentation results last?
Depending on your skin type and sun exposure, your tattoos can look great for years. This is a tattoo so there will always be pigment in your skin. Fading is more common due to sun exposure and high rate of facial skin exfoliation or use of some skin products like retinols and acid peels.
Micropigmentation usually requires a touch up 1-3 years depending how you preserve the tattoo, which is considerably longer than microblading. Sunscreen is your best defense to protecting your brows over time.
Suitable for all skin and brow types
The technique used to deliver pigment during a brows treatment means it’s suitable for all brow and skin types - even oily complexions! Plus, the tattooing approach is less traumatic to the skin than microblading, with minimal skin damage.
