To ensure clarity and understanding, we've outlined our policies at NMR Tattoo:

• Payment:

• Full payment is required on the appointment day.

• All tattoo services require a $50 deposit.

• In-person Tattoo Payment methods: CASH, checks, Venmo or Zelle.

• Online consult payments: Stripe, Venmo, or Zelle.

• DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS are NOT ACCEPTED for tattoo sessions.

Consultation Fee:

• The consultation fee for tattoo services is $50, payable at the time of scheduling your consultation appointment. This fee covers the time and expertise of our tattoo artist during the consultation.

• Application to Tattoo Deposit:

  Should you decide to proceed with the tattoo after the consultation, the $50 consultation fee will be applied towards your tattoo deposit. The tattoo deposit is a commitment to secure your appointment for the tattoo session.

  Consult Refund Policy:

  The consultation fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether you choose to proceed with the tattoo or not. This policy is in place to minimize "no-shows" and to compensate our artists for their time and expertise during the consultation.

  Booking Your Tattoo Session:

  To secure your tattoo appointment, the $50 consultation fee will be applied as the deposit for your tattoo session. The specific deposit amount, based on the size, complexity, and estimated duration of the tattoo, will be discussed during the consultation.

  Please note that tattoo services are priced on an hourly basis. The hourly charge will be determined during the consultation based on the intricacy of the design and other factors. Our artist will provide you with an estimate of the total cost of the tattoo session during this discussion.

  Rescheduling and Cancellations:

  Consultation appointments can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice. Failure to provide sufficient notice or a no-show will result in forfeiture of the consultation fee.

Medical Biller Service $55

This additional service includes an itemized bill (a specialized receipt and procedure note) and will submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement from your health care insurance. ONE appeal is included with the medical biller service if the insurance company denies the initial claim. The initial process of the claim will take 1-3 days and up to 60 days to receive a response from the insurance company. (The medical billing service is an outside entity not affiliated with NMR Tattoo or any medical or hospital facility. The medical billers fee is a separate cost and will not be included in the reimbursement claim)

Some insurance companies require a pre-authorization you can initiate prior to treatment. You may also need a letter of medical necessity from your doctor. Insurance companies may reimburse full to partial payments. Sadly, some insurance companies may not approve any payment at all. NMR Tattoo cannot guarantee any reimbursement to clients from their insurance plan.

Medical Biller Service is available to Breast Cancer and Transgender Clients.

*If you chose to opt out of using the medical biller service, an itemized bill and procedure note will still be provided to you after the first tattoo session and you, the client, will be fully responsible on submitting any claims and appeals to the insurance company for reimbursement for the medical tattoos.

*Please have your insurance card and any medical paperwork information pertaining to your surgery/diagnosis.

Cosmetic areola tattooing is for those who desire color enhancement, correction and scar coverage from elective cosmetic breast surgery. This is not covered by insurance so we cannot provide itemized bills for reimbursement.

TATTOO REFUND POLICY:

THERE IS A STRICT NO REFUND POLICY ON ALL TATTOOS. You cannot give us our tattoos, time and services back so we will not refund those service. There is no refund on deposits because we put time and effort in everything surrounding talking to you, making appointments, preparing insurance paperwork, consultations etc.
